The 61st foundation days have just passed away in school. There were the usual scenes---happy people,nauseating rides,endless food stalls,laughter ringing in the whole place. There was no Field Demo, because the Covered Court got badly damaged by that fiend Ondoy. And that was the event we're all waiting for. The event which dates back when we're still in the air.

IHMC: battle of the bands 2010

It's confirmed: We will have a BAND SHOWDOWN this February 6,2010. Open to all HS bands. Please get your application form from yours truly, Deborah Rosabal, SCB Exec. Chairperson. Deadline of submission will be this Friday, January 22.

If you think.. or if you believe that you've got what it takes, then form you band, decide on a band name, and GO! Be ready to take the crowd away with 3 SONGS-- 1Tagalog song, 1 Religious song and 1 Pop song.

The sooner you pass the appplication form, the better! That means reservation for your songs.

The event will be in the St. Ann's Hall, 1:00-3:00 PM.
Price of Tickets will be announced soon.

First Saturday at Quiapo!

My head hit the pillow the moment the America's Got Talent show revealed their million dollar act. The same moment I remembered we're gonna attend mass tomorrow morning! Talk about creep eye circles.

My sister woke me up.. Though my body still wants to toss and sleep,there's a force that pulled me up.

Oh,it's been a while since the last time I got here! The architecture's remarkable. I'd like to encapsulate the vast,awesome feel of the dome Church. The music soothed restless ears. Good thing I didn't fall asleep! No-no-no! :D

My mom and I sauntered the paseos and stalls.. The vendors were swept from their places as the firefighters blasted their snaky water hoses. They're cleaning for next week's Feast of the Black Nazarene. When I was a kid,I reall wondered why the icon is black. Said to be burned a lot of years ago.

After a li'l while,we rode the jeepney home...feeling refreshed and at ease. The best gift from God at the moment!

A New Beginning... (At the 4th day before year-end??)

Well yes!

You can change even if it's kinda late;as long as the WILL has grasped you,then GO! And I think that was what just happened to me.

Last Dec.18 was our CHRISTMAS PARTY in school. I was with the SLDM, our section, and our class adviser, Miss Evelyn Alvarez, a Math genius. Before I left for home, someone gave me an adorable necklace as a gift...and I wear it a lot. :) And then there were the pahabol picture takings... of our barkada during freshmen years(the Demon tribe and the DNCS) whom I treasure the most, and other friends.

So I looked in the classroom. Clean? Check. The gifts? Check. Wait, the reading corner? Lemme take a look. It's been a while since I read a book! Two weeks? Anyway, there's this URGE in me to grab this certain pink reading material. 'True Beauty' by Andrea Stephens. A girl stood the cover,smelling a sunflower. Pretty interesting. I slid it in my bulging polka-dot plastic, and trotted home.

Oh,this is a book I've been searching for! A spiritual heart surgeon. A welcoming door to GOD. I love it to PIECES! => From that day on, I practiced what were written there, prayed a lot more than I used to, and digested the precious Scripture... Though it's tough not to fall off track, it seems rewarding knowing that YOU CAN CHANGE. Knowing that YOU CAN BE BEAUTIFUL. And knowing that YOU CAN LOVE.

Boys Over Flowers and Kpop Fever ^^

Oh God.. pinch me.. if this is just a dream, please don't wake me up. B.O.F, the Koreanovela hit here in the Philippines a couple of months ago, will AIR AGAIN in the Primetime Bida of ABS-CBN!! Woo Bin.. see you again soon. :)
I wish the other members of the Korean F4 get to fly here in our humble country..Many are really looking forward to it coz Kim Bum's arrival was unexpected!
But.. A VERY BIG THANKS to Boys Over Flowers--- coz it sparked the Korean FEVER here! From our home, to our school, to every nook and cranny of the nation!!
This addiction's totally awesome! Me and some of my friends learned how to dance and groove to KPOP songs.. :D
I'm very happy! It's an inspiring and enjoyable fad.. I hope Korean groups such as Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, 2ne1, Big Bang, DBSK and others know that THEY HAVE TONS OF FANS in the PHILIPPINES!!!
Even if we don't fully understand you language, we know what you're trying to say.. through dance and Body Language..

The day started off fine. Nkapunta na ko sa skool.. my beloved IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY COLLEGE. <3 style="font-style: italic;">Nilalasap ko na ang mga huling sandali ko dito sa Immah.. Kaya ang motto naming mga SENIORS, SULITIN ANG PAGIGING 4TH YEARRR!!! Hahaha..tama ean.. :)) Pero in fairness to 4th year batch 2010,they really are supportive and loving.. I remember the NUTRITION MONTH celebration.. nung nagperform yung FRUITY BAND with all the fruity costumes.. (carla,wino,roed,nadia,angela,anne,amber and me) todo cheer cla.. and I appreciate it! Sobra... kundi dahil sa kanila ndi na kme ulit ngpakita sa skool. Ithink dt's too much but that's how we really felt!! nkatambay kme nun sa music room ng mga vox... umiiyak..

Anyway..! Tuloy ang buhay.. Parang ang gaan'gaan'gaan talaga ng araw na to! First time ko nakapag-blog ng matino.. xp

Ayan.. flag ceremony na.. nandun na kme sa 2nd floor..feeling the crowd..
hehe. after that kumuha ng permits for meetings sa SCB.. :) one of my passions..

Okay balik ng classroom--- X-St. Louise de Marillac.. We watched ODYSSEY nung english tym.. and it was gruesome and cool. :)) Binalik ang exam sa music and arts, at ang P.E. (BooM.) lagot na tayo diyan.
pero at least nkakalahati! :) Let's look at the BRIGHT SIDE!!!! :)) thank God at may practical test kmeng DUTCH dance!!!
Kinarir din nmen un.. =) ung exam din sa Ekonomiks binalik na.. buti sampu lng mali... At nung nagrerecheck kme ay busy ang lola niyong gumagawa ng JINGLE pra i-advertise ung ginawa nameng kurtina.. WONDER curtain!!! hahaha.
Sumayaw pa kami ni Kathryn.. Binago ko lng yung lyrics ng MIRACLE by SUJU!! hahaha. Parang naging music vid xa... wid sienna, thea, aisha, euriez at niÑa(bilang dakilang tga-buhat ng kurtina mula sa straw..) :D peace tayo!

FATAL Entrance Exams!! :D

I was really RUSHING because the exam is to start 2 hours later...

So there we were...
Nervousness is filling in Rm.403 of Albertus Magnus Bldg.
UST..
After a few tense minutes and we started..

"Hey.. I think I kind of know these..!"

I answered the exam questions ahead of time.. not minding if they're ABSOLUTELY correct or not. :) and we also had a drawing test( for those taking CFAD or Archi.)

After smiling to a couple of people,
I was real hungry.!!!
like THIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSS hungry.
I could eat a thousand CHOCO SLICES!

But after all.. only HE will decide on my future. :)
